Privacy & data

Last updated 16 July 2026 · RegentLabs · hireregent.com

Regent handles other people's tenant data, so this page is written plainly rather than in legalese. If something here is unclear, ask us and we'll fix the wording.

What we collect

Two things, and nothing else.

When you request a report, the form on our report page collects your name, work email, firm name, the number of doors you manage, the states you operate in (this determines which rules we run), and anything you type in the optional message box. We also store your browser's user-agent string and the time you submitted. That's the whole list; it's the same six fields you can see on the form.

When you send us a portfolio export for a proof-mode report — from whatever property-management software you run on — we receive whatever that export contains: properties, units, leases, tenants, work orders, and ledger entries. This is your data and your tenants' data, and we treat it as borrowed.

We don't use tracking cookies, we don't run an analytics script on this site, and we don't buy or enrich data about you from anyone else.

Why we collect it

Contact details let us reply to you and prepare your report. The states you name determine which jurisdiction rules we check. Your portfolio export is the input to the report itself: without it there is nothing to analyse. We don't use any of it for anything else.

How long we keep it

Your portfolio data is deleted within 30 days of your report being delivered, whether or not you become a customer. You keep the report; we don't keep the raw data. If you become a client, your data stays only as long as you're with us — and we delete it on request when you leave.

Your contact details stay until you ask us to delete them. Email hello@hireregent.com and we'll remove them; no form, no retention argument.

What we never do

  • We never sell your data, and we never share it with anyone outside the processors listed below.
  • We never use your data, or your tenants' data, to train AI models.
  • We never write back to your property-management system during proof mode. We ask for read access only; the write scopes don't exist yet.

Who else touches it

Regent is built on other companies' infrastructure, so being specific matters more than being reassuring. These are all of them:

Supabase
Hosts our database. Your contact details and, during a report, your synced data live here.
Vercel
Hosts this website and serves the pages you're reading.

Our own engineering rules block any third-party service from touching real property-management data until we've read and recorded its data-retention and training terms.

Where we're honest about limits

RegentLabs is a small company and this is an early product. We are not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice. If you need a signed data-processing agreement, a security questionnaire filled in, or something specific for your broker, email us and we'll answer directly rather than pointing you at a policy page.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. One email to hello@hireregent.com does any of those. You can revoke our access to your property-management system at any time — from that system directly, or by telling us.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we change this page and move the date at the top. We won't quietly broaden what we do with data you already sent us.
